PM Launchpad is built specifically for beginners who want to break into product management. Whether you’re switching careers or starting fresh, no prior experience is required—just a strong interest in product and a willingness to learn.
The full PM Launchpad journey spans about 4-5 months. You’ll begin with more than a month of structured product management training, followed by a 3-month volunteer placement with a startup where you’ll apply what you’ve learned in a real-world setting.
Currently, PM Launchpad is offered for free until end of July 2025. As part of Axion’s mission to make product management more accessible, we only ask for your time, energy, and commitment. There are no tuition fees until the said date.
The training is practical and project-based. You’ll dive into essential product management skills such as product discovery, sprint planning, prioritization, user stories, stakeholder communication, and delivery strategy—all tailored for beginners entering the PM space.
We partner with early-stage startups that are aligned with Axion’s values. These startups offer a growth-oriented environment where PM Launchpad participants can take on real product challenges while being supported by mentors.
You’ll take on the role of a volunteer Product Manager for approximately 15 hours a week over three months. You’ll contribute to actual product development processes while receiving guidance and feedback from experienced mentors.
Once you’ve successfully finished the training and your startup placement, you’ll earn your Axion Product Manager Certificate and join our PM Launchpad Alumni Network—a growing community of early-career PMs and mentors to support your next steps in product.
